I can really relate to this one, I live in a mushy soggy place, and it definitely rains a lot in this part of the world xD I didn't have time to watch the video you said this was based on, but after reading this, I will make sure to see it, now hahaha I especially like the part where you said "The rain trickles down the window, droplets merging together as they fall slowly towards the ground. I can hear the rain falling on my roof, and I find it restful. I close my eyes and let the sound wash over me." you give the story a very calming mood, and your style makes this very appealing to the reader. Kudos on the good writing, keep it up :D
