I found this story through comment swap and although I am not a Harry Potter enthusiast, I do have to say that your writing had me hooked. You have a very eloquent way of putting sentences together to make them flow. I love your use of short chapters. I felt as though it gave the reader more to look forward to. Keep up the work, you're extremely talented.

I am here from Comment Swap. Firstly I have to say wooooowwww, was this thing long! I had to take breaks from reading it as I tend to get bored on about the 4th chapter of most stories but that is more my problem than it is yours lol. This is only the second Harry Potter fanfic I have written. So my actual judgement for Harry Potter fics is probably mediocre at best. But I did enjoy it lol. The plot was different-ish. So that was refreshing but yeah. Good job.

Anyhow, you have a great balance with dialogue and detail; the two balance themselves out very well. You have a great way with words and your writing flows well. Honestly, keep up the good work!

i'm sorry these arent actual comments about your story (which is actually good, Dumbledore issues aside...) i wish Mibba would be a little more random with the selections of these stories is all!

The plot was pretty interesting although I don't really like Dumbledore. Regardless, you're writing style is good and although the chapters were short, I liked how you were able to use imagery along with dialogue well. :)

I'm not the biggest Harry Potter fan, so that might've slightly changed my opinions of this fanfiction. Regardless, you write pretty well. I admire the fact that although you do have certain chapters with solely dialogue, you also do describe things very well. All in all, I do think you're talented. Good job with this :)

That's not to say I didn't enjoy it, I just wouldn't go out of my way to search for a fic like it.

i like Harry Potter, but theres something about Harry Potter fan fics i dont like...
you're writing a story about a fictional character made up by someone else...
That being said, you are a fantastic writer, and if this was about anyone else, it would be a brilliant story, but i just cant get into it about Dumbledore :/

i like the story but it involves a lot of french words and names it kind of gets boring after awhile, no offense though, it's because i don't know french haha i'm just glad that the french words aren't a lot in the continuing chapters :)
also the title made me think of the Christina Aguilera song Ain't No Other Man lol

Wow! After the first chapter I was hooked! I'm really glad that comment swap brought me here! The layout is simple, it's not too much. I love it! This is very well written; it flows very well. Your writing is full of detail and the chapters are perfect lengths! I'm really excited to see where you go with this story! :) Keep up all of your hard work!

I got to chapter tenbefore i stopped reading and im enjoying this so much i could keep going. Im not a big harry potter fan, so i was kind of iffy about reading this. The layout is great and im sure the plot line is going to get better, im coming back to finish later!

The layout is nice and simple, I like it that way. The story was very well written, full of detail and description. The summary pulled me in right away, curious about the rest of the story, which did not disappoint. The story flows very nicely and the chapters are good lengths. Overall, it's an awesome story! Keep up the great work!
