Thank you so much for your advice. It's been awhile since I touched this story, and it has renewed my inspiration.

Comment Swap. So, I'll preface this by admitting that I am not typically a fan of werewolf stories, but I enjoyed some of the choices you've made with your main character. First, I really enjoyed the decision to make her mute, it adds a layer of difficulty and draws more attention to the wolven connection and the ability to communicate beyond mere words. I thought that was a nice touch. Second, I really enjoy the use of the collective "we" narration with the wolf spirit and Ally, it's so rare that this narration is applicable and well used and I think you've accomplished that. In fact, I'd love more of it. The multiple voices and points of view make the read more compelling and dynamic, which I appreciate as a reader. Also, I've got a soft spot for characters that talk to themselves, whether sane or insane.

Anyway, I think this story is promising and off to a great start (clearly people like it), and I just hope that there might be some backstory or conversation that might explain information that seems important, but has been underdeveloped thus far.

So, I really am the worst butt about following through with obligations and for that I apologize. I should have dealt with this comment swap thing....oh boy...forever ago. I'm sincerely sorry.

For all that wait though, I wish I had something worth saying! You are a fantastic author.

The blunt voice of the main character is equal parts refreshing and hindering. Because she's so blunt you have an issue of telling us what has happened, what is happening etc, rather than showing us. Not much emotion is conveyed, rather we infer what emotions she must be feeling about the given situations based on our own understanding of what emotions those situations typically bring out. The rape thing, for example.

Other than that though, this is equal parts dramatic and funny. I really love her voice, especially the parts where she's talking to herself. That feels very natural and it's not something you see very often. It's something very light to balance out the other themes and I like it.

This story is very original too, I don't know if you plan on continuing but if you do- that'd be nice.

Comment swap! This was really good and very different to anything I would usually read. Ally's character is portrayed fantastically in all 6 chapters so far and her relationship with Drew has the potential to be very interesting. Where did you get the inspiration for this? The whole 'werewolf/vampire' thing screams Twilight but you write with such conviction that I'm under the impression it's a very original idea... Keep it up!

I never know what to expect when delving into a new story. I tend to restrain myself from high hopes as, while many stories I read are good, if not great, they tend to leave me with either a sour taste in my mouth or me wanting more.

This though, this really was a good read. The topic of sexual abuse is always such a rough topic but I felt that you used it in a good manner. I saw a comment that mentioned that is "more of a shock tactic than anything else" i must politely disagree. It may be because i always believe that the author has the right to do what they want. Regardless, this was a terrific read! Great job!

I'm kind of worried that you seem to be using the sexual abuse here as more of a shock tactic than anything else. There's a definite cliche in online fiction regarding abusive parents, and I feel kind of weird about how you're writing this one. While there are signs of fear here, and anger too, I feel like this is really downplaying the trauma and mental destruction a person goes through when faced not only with rape, but with forced incest. Maybe this is because you don't use a lot of description about what your protagonist is feeling, and therefore it seems as though you're coming across as nonchalant? I don't know, but it feels very cold and mechanical, considering what you're writing about. And do tie in a romance story right after dealing with horrifying sexual assault ... I don't know, man, maybe it's just me, but this feels really weird.

I first thought that this would be very cliche, and poorly written but you have proved me wrong. I enjoy how you actually lead into the story, and told us about the abusive father, and not just I ran away, found my mate, la la la. It is realistic, well as realistic as possible considering it deals with wolves, and I enjoyed reading your story.
