Ah yaya they kissed!! And I'm not liking Alisha one bit!

Okay, I understand Ryan wants Maddi back, but the way he approaches it is just gift wrapping her to Zach. Because I'm pretty sure Ryan would know about the accident (he got with Maddi shortly after) and if memory serves me right the weather played a part in the crash. So if he's making a reference about her getting into another accident, but this time stating that Ava's with her in the car, he crossed the line. Because no mom wants a jab that she's putting her child in danger. But honestly, Maddi just needs to stop leading Ryan on and end it. It's obvious she doesn't love him or feel comfortable enough to admit Ava's spending time with the man whom all adult parties involved knew was her dad. I have a feeling she doesn't want Ava to lose that male constant in her life, it's obvious Ryan and Zach can't coexist outside hockey and that's part of the deal with Maddi- you have to accept Ava and also Zach's role as her dad. He can say sorry all he wants, but a) he violated her trust by holding back the fact he knew Zach was Ava's father for god knows how long, and b) it's hard to go on about how much you hate a guy while you're his daughter's stepdad. Plus Maddi is falling for Zach. The sooner she calls it quits, the easier, because the longer she waits the greater likelihood Ryan will resort to his "why me" attitude as a response for being strung along.
Now to the major part of the chapter- the kiss. I personally thought that although subconsciously they both wanted to kiss- the timing was bad. First, Zach was coming off an emotional breakdown. Yes, he loves Maddi, but he thought with his mouth/ dick, not his brain. Because he has more to lose in this then Maddi. He basically had his worst case scenario happen. First, Ava is going to feel resentment towards him and Maddi, particularly him, especially when she finds out that he's her dad. Because obviously she's going to think that they both knew and that Maddi just kept it from her, while she'll believe Zach intentionally left her to play happy family with Alisha and the twins. Not only that, but she'll see him as the dad whom abandoned her and subsequently caused the father figure in her life, Ryan, to leave (it's more then likely going to happen at this point). Then you have Michael who, honestly, my heart goes out for, because this kid already will need therapy in the future to deal with his fear of his own mother as a small child. But now I'm preparing for Alisha to plant the seeds of something akin to 'Did you see who daddy kissed? It was Ava's mom. You kids know what'll happen now, he'll leave us like a pile of dirt for Ava and her mom.'. That will just ruin Michael's already fragile psyche. In my opinion, they should've cleared up a lot of things before this happened. I know it's the heat of the moment, but the pressing issue is they shouldn't have even attempted this until the kids knew that Zach was Ava's dad. Because now it seems to the twins- probably more to Michael- that their a package with Alisha. At this point Zach's done everything but hand her divorce papers, so they see that dad's already moved on with Maddi and now they already have a kid in Ava and you've got the idea that he's trading in them and Alisha for a new family like a car. At least if he let the kids ease into the idea of being a family before attempting to start a romantic relationship the change wouldn't have gone from where they are now to now they have a new parental figure and another kid (or two) as a sibling. Maddi should have cleared up her shit with Ryan (i.e. told him she wasn't in love with him anymore), they should have told the kids about Ava's paternity, and Zach should have at least separated, if not filed for divorce from Alisha. Because based on what Zach said, Child Protective Services should be on their doorstep. But I have a feeling this upcoming Zach/ Alisha screaming match (which I'd love to hear personally) will have Maddi take the kids out and get these two to finally divorce. If so I'd love to see what Alisha pulls out of her hat. And finally, Ally and Travis need to get out of the Zach/ Maddi/ Alisha/ Ryan love square. Because truthfully they don't want to choose between people, and the best way is to step back and declare yourself neutral. Best idea, you tell the four they can't do a anger filled rant about another for them (ex. Alisha don't talk about Maddi, Maddi doesn't talk abbot Alisha/ Ryan, Ryan doesn't rant about Maddi/Zach, and Zach doesn't talk about Alisha/Ryan). Plus I'm interested in a non-romantic Alisha/Ryan partnership in order to win their husband/ fiancée back. Update soon!

Okay, Mari is just adorable and so is Michael. I have a feeling that somewhere Ava's going to say something about how she wished Ryan was like Zach or how she wished Zach was her dad. Because right now Ryan seems more and more like Maddi's rebound whom she didn't know was a rebound vs. someone whom she really loves. But did Zach kiss Ava goodnight, because that's might be crossing the line of playmate vs. daughter.
Mari and Ava's idea of having Zach and Maddi as queen and king is so sweet. And why do I have a feeling there'll be a royal kiss? Maybe if Alisha needs a role it could be the evil queen from Snow White? Now that Maddi's here (If it's because Ryan kicked her out, I'm officially done with him) I have a feeling Zach is going to introduce the idea of Maddi and Ava staying with them whiled Maddi and Ryan try to work things out (which they won't). Because at the end of the day this is what he wants all his kids together and being with Maddison. Plus now might be the time to break it to the kids, they're all together and there's no time like the present. Hopefully Michael doesn't feel like he and Mari are going to dumped with Alisha in exchange for Zach being with Maddi and Ava, because that's what get's kids in therapy. Update soon!

I'm glad Zach took the risk of having Ava stay the night with him.

Okay, based on what Zach's saying I'll take a gamble on the idea that he has a good divorce attorney lined up. Because he seems more then ready to dump Alisha in order to start playing happy family with Maddi and Ava. I understand Zach's concern with Michael, because I share it with him Because he's psychologically the one who's going to deal with this the worst. He's already scared shitless by his mother, and even the idea that his dad might abandon him and Mari for Ava and his new (girl)friend is going to cause him a lot of angst. And unlike Mari, who might be thrilled by prospect of Ava as a sister and 24/7 playmate, or Ava- whom will be gaining a guy she loves as her dad, and quite possibly her parents reuniting- Michael isn't gaining anyone obvious (except maybe a nicer mom) and his biggest fear is probably Zach leaving him feeling unloved by both parents.
Ava spending the night with Zach is probably the best thing for her. Maddi and Ryan seem to be on the fast track to break off the engagement, and this is almost a precursor to life after she finds out Zach's her dad. I think she's pretty conflicted- she obviously adores Zach and part of her wants him as a dad- but Ryan's all she's ever known and she's obviously attached. I have a feeling Ava's going to be the card blanche here for whom Maddi chooses. Zach's her dad biologically, but Ryan is who she see's in the father role, so they're on an even playing field. If AVa starts acting like she wishes she was the third Parise child (which she is) then it is much easier for Maddi to think about a relationship and blended family with Zach. Update soon!

You're welcome for the 'kick your dog' line. Wait Ryan knew the whole fucking time and he decided not to tell Maddi? Is he trying to make me despise him? At least Alisha's pure crazy, Ryan is a nice guy whom's jealous as hell and has a why me/ it's not fair complex. I understand that he's afraid of losing Maddi and Ava to Zach, and I commend that he seems to be the quickest to put 2 and 2 together to make four, but he can't control the fact that Maddi and Ava prefer Zach and acting like an ass about this is just going to alienate everyone. Plus how long has he known, since seeing Ava or once he saw her by Zach? I'll henge my bets that Ryan and Maddi are done, mainly because Ryan's jealousy of Zach just can't work with Ava. Now we just need to see what happens with Zach and Alisha.
I still think Zach is staying with Ava not only because she's his daughter but he also I think is making up for lost time with Ava. Because she must be affected by Ryan acting jealous as hell and I hate to think how this is affecting her. Yeah, little kid's playmate, and of course Zach initiated it! Please let next chapter be in Zach's pov, because then we get to see the kids acting adorable together and maybe, just maybe, Alisha will pop in unannounced in order to see her kids playing with their half sister and flip her lid. I don't understand how Ally thought telling Maddi that she was having sex with Zach and conceived Ava was unimportant. This kind of affects everyone's life. I also think that Maddi knows that this is the nail in the coffin for her and Ryan. He hates Zach and now he knows he has a constant reminder- Ava. I honestly think that he won't be able to handle that version of the stepdad role, it's easier to do when the biological dad(Zach) isn't involved then it is when you're the lesser of two dads. And, I want to sympathize with Ryan, but having a why me complex won't help. I wonder why Zach isn't talking to Maddi and why Alisha would even tell Ally? Alisha's up to some new tricks. As for names, I don't know. In real life I'm pretty sure his son's name is Zenon, but whatever you chose would work. Update soon!

Maybe I missed this, but where are Maddi's parents in all this? Are they dead or estranged or is it even more complicated then that? Because Zach's dad is acting like a pseudo dad to Maddi by calling he sweetpea, a very dad thing.
I personally think the home wrecker title would have more to do with the fact that I'm almost certain that she and Ava will be the reason Zach ends his rocky marriage. But then again she doesn't know they were engaged and Alisha's the home wrecker here. Also why didn't Ally try to help her remember right then and there? They must have pictures from that time. Oh Ryan, you've been living with a Parise since Ava was born-so that line was historical. But why does he hate Zach? Did he kick his dog or does he realize that he'll never beat Zach? Also I'd love to see more of the twins and Ava together, plus the awkward conversation that their all related and that Dad/ Mr. Zach is also Ava's dad. Update Soon!

Okay so at what point does Maddi forget everything, because either she subconsciously has an idea about what happened or she had her memory at that point. Because I can never quite pinpoint what Maddison remembers and what draws a blank for her.
Oh lord, the whole talk with the Jordan & Mr. Parise must be awkward for Maddi. The whole 'My daughter is your niece/granddaughter whom happens to be the same age as her half siblings and whom no one- including me- had any clue was related to you until recently' probably got interesting. And I'm half anticipating Alisha to whisk the kids on the first flight to some other country like those cases where the kids are abducted internationally by another parent. But the interesting thing is while Zach seemed to be thrilled with the result, Maddi seemed like she was trying her damnedest to find evidence to refute it. Maybe she has a feeling Ryan's less likely to be a step dad to Ava if Zach is willingly in the picture and looking to make his move on both of them. Plus time to see kindergardeners attempt to comprehend complex matters, because when the kids find out their all related the shit will hit the fan. Update soon.

Oh, Zach, it's pretty obvious why you hate Ryan. He's sliding into the role of Maddi's husband-to-be and Ava's dad- a role you think should be yours. But he shouldn't kid himself, he wanted to stay with Ava in order to prove to Maddi he's cares for Ava and to start recruiting her for Team Zach in the inevitable Zach vs Ryan showdown.
How in the world does Alisha just say/write these things and not assume Zach will be pissed. Probably because Zach just lets her. He needs to realize he's in a situation where staying together is causing the kids more angst then a divorce would. I'm putting money on him calling Maddi leading to a precursor to Zach's dream family- him, Maddison, Mariann, Michael, and Ava. Plus it'll start the twins wanting Maddi as their mother, because I think poor Michael is so scared of Alisha that he's scared of Zach ever getting mad, because then he has a dad who's too angry to stand up for them vs mommy dearest.
