Omg. Balling like a baby...I could totally see them proposing to someone like that. Love the story...again, so well written. Pretty sure I'll be leaving comments on all of your stories over the next couple days...lol.

@ Thatmom Thank you so much, that's such a great compliment! I'm glad you enjoy this one. I did too - it's got a sense of calm about it that I don't normally get to write.

I love love this story. This is one of my comfort stories. I've read it multiple times and of course know how it ends. But when my life gets so stressful I retreat to a familiar place, your story, and find some measure of peace. Thank you for your writing.

@ jazter It's so funny that you say that, because I actually re-read this story on Tuesday night (stayed up really late too, as if I didn't know how it ended!) and I realized that I changed her age a few times. It's among the less terrible typo transgressions I've made in stories, but noticeable nonetheless. I'll see if I can't hunt the inconsistencies down and change them. I'm glad you liked the story - I confess that I really like this one too. I'm watching Penguins vs. Flyers right now and gave Danny a little cheer for an assist, even if I'd rather the Flyers never score at all.

Yet another one of yours I've read multiple times in the months since I discovered your writing; in fact, I may have followed you to Mibba from blogspot because I have a devil of a time trying to find good fic there; it's so decentralized or at least I've no idea how to go about it. In any case, this is a lovely story and I cannot even tell from the writing that you're not a fan of the flyers, you've humanized them so well. It would have been easy to make them less likable. I even like that you did not write Sara as becoming the pivot point around which the team rotates; while she is friendly with them and they with her, I like that she doesn't become best friend to all, that always rings false to me when I read that in other fics. Above all, I enjoy a well-plotted and well-written story and you provide both in spades.

And as a personal bonus in regards to this story, I can read and enjoy without feeling like a dirty old woman since Danny is, um, a more mature player.

One eeensy beensy thing - you've written her age as 28 in some places and 27 in others. I'm a terrible pedant, I readily admit it.

Thank you so much! I really liked this story too, and wrote myself into a total crush on Briere. I would have once said that was beyond impossible.

This was such an AWESOME story! Of course, that is no surprise because all of your stories I have read so far have been so good. This one had it all, sweetness, SEXINESS,cuteness...everything. The way Sara was with the boys was so cute and the proposal with all of them was adorable! The only thing that would have made it any better would have been if they were married and Sara gave him a little girl! :) It would have been cool to see how Danny and the boys would have reacted to that. But hey, whatever, it was still great without that. I'm so glad I got to read the whole thing at once or I would have been DYING for updates! :) That is why I prefer to read finished stories, but that doesn't mean that I don't subscribe and wait for updates when I have to. I just like the instant gratification of being able to go from chapter to chapter without having to wait. So I only have a few more to read and then I will be at the point where I will have to subscribe and wait like everyone else! :( But I know the updates will be worth the wait when I do get to that point. Thanks for another awesome story!

And BTW.....I read a few others in between this one and the last one I commented on, but I read them on my phone and it's harder to write comments on my phone, but let me just say that I loved them all! I didn't want you to think I didn't like some of them just because I didn't comment. I think I tried to recommend them all, but I might have missed one or two. I need to go back and look.

This ending could not have been more perfect. I started to read it at work but had to stop because it was making me tear up! LOL.
As for the new story...... The usual suspects always come to mind for a lead: Jordan Staal being my #1 choice. I can't read enough about him. Or Claude Giroux. Also I would kill for a good Kevin Bieksa fic. He is gorgeous & funny.
I will read anything you write as long as it doesn't involve a Bruin. :-)

Geno - now, that would be awesome! Yes, Girls love!!!

And if they didnt before, how could anyone resist that giant of a man, at the NHL Awards, struggling in broken english to pay an emotional tribute to his friend and mentor - Sergei Gonchar. I just wanted to hug him and take him home!

Actually sobbing because the ending (and the entire story) was so freaking cute, omg. You never fail to impress with your writing. Like, you could literally write a story about spiders or something and I'm pretty sure I'll love it. But for your next story, I think you should write about Geno or even Brandon Sutter.

This story was absolutely perfect. One of my favorites you've written. The proposal was so sweet & I love how the boys were involved. Can't wait for your next story. I'll pretty much read anything you write as long as it doesn't involve a Canuck, haha.

Quite possibly one of the best stories I've ever read. I would stop everything I was doing whenever I'd get an email that you had updated! You're such a phenomenal writer than I'm sure whomever you choose for your next story, you'll do him justice as you did to Danny. :-) Can't wait for more from you!

I think this is tied with Stalberg in being my favorite story written, you put so much raw emotion into the characters and story. each one is very different and always the right length. Cant wait to see who you write about next, hopefully someone new (for you) and doesn't have a ton already out there about them.
