Awww... bittersweet. But kudos for coming back on here and finishing it up. So many authors just let their stories go, so I commend you for finishing yours. :)

So just reread this again, as I mentioned... hopefully you read my tumblr message before reading this, otherwise the whole first part of this comment makes no sense. XD
But anyway...
I had to comment again, because, once again, I loved this story. Compared to your other one, this one definitely had the more realistic, sad but kind of loving at the same time, ending.
And I have to mention, since I never said about it in my last comment on this: the ending to this story is the reason why the song Last Young Renegade makes me sad. lol. I try so hard to explain to people why it does, because many don't get it since it's got a happy beat, you know... but this ending you put together for this story explains it. Idk what it's truly based off of, obviously not this story, but... it's just the fact that it reflects on a time that was so nostalgic and happy but yet, you can tell it was all let go. Idk, hopefully that makes sense. And it makes me sad and this ending nearly had me in tears, since you hit it on the nose with how this song makes me feel, by comparing it to Alex and Anastaysia's relationship.
On an overall note, I'm sad they didn't end up together, but I guess you can't have every story end the same, so I like how it was different. And, again, amazed that you came back to it after so long.
Once again, if you ever find yourself posting your stuff again, let me know and I'll definitely check anything out. I'm still biased to ATL fan fics, but... if it's an original I'm open to it as well, since you really are a great writer. :) It just might be iffy if it's another focus of fan fic, lol, since I don't really read that many, fandom-wise. lol. The only ones that I have really read, in fact, are ATL and then before that, Jonas Brothers ones when I initially started on this site, lol. XD
But anyway, let me wrap up my rant now, lol. Just know that you also did a great job with this story, and I am now left feeling sad and nostalgic. But in a good way. Thank you for writing a definition to this song with your ending. :)
