i really like how you describe the settings. The first paragraph of chapter one was really good!

Also, like that you're keeping up with the accents. I tried that and it's hard!!! You either accidentally keep writing in that or forget about it after shifting from one to another!

The descriptions are very well developed, but at times it can be hard to follow. In some instances you come out with all of this information all at once, and then nothing at all. If you work on your pacing a bit more I think that this will be a very effective story.

Oh! Oh! 'A,' that's me!! Oh Leah, I adore you. I was reading chapter four like "oh that sounds familiar...." and then I realized you were using Aimee's story! That's brilliant! I love the analogy of Maya being a stray animal. It's perfectly sad and endearing at the same time. I can't wait for more, love!! <3

You have a perfect balance of description in these chapters, you have it setup in a way that we know the surroundings and environments that the characters are in, and we can imagine even ourselves in there. And yet, you don't bore us with excessive amounts of descriptions that even published authors are accustomed to. Kudos! Plus, you're making me really like Harry, he's so bubbly and happy and refreshing. Most male characters are brood all over the place and are "misunderstood" and "need fixing." It's kind of frustrating to see the same formula used for male characters over and over and over again, but this is a nice change of pace. I really do think that nice guys are best, and you're making me actually believe it in here! Love love love your story so far. (p.s. this is ked :D)

Goodness, he thinks she's a spy hahaha. Harry is so damn cute. Such a charmer, just pulling her into things and calling her the prettiest girl he's ever seen... yeesh. (;

Harry is so cute. I love how he said he won't tell them about her skills but that he did meet a pretty girl. So cute. Can't wait for more..keep up the awesome work.

This is incredibly genius! I love how it's a mixture of "supernatural" and human. I saw the picture of Harry and knew I was going to read it. :) I love how descriptive you are, your sentences are fluid, great writing! Good job! :)

Oh Leah, you never cease to amaze me girly! I can tell this is going to be so good. I love the plot line; Maya having 'superpowers' is just brilliant. I love that already we see she's trying to be a normal person despite being anything but. The scene with Cameron was cracking me up, too. I loved the appearance of Harry and how he had to help the girl because that's just the kind of guy he is. I'm interesting in knowing exactly what he saw, haha, as he obviously seemed a bit dumbstruck at the end there. Definitely cannot wait for more, love! <3
