I don't like suicide stories, not one bit but this was so enticing I couldn't help but read it all the way through.
I feel as though this was so real because so many of this character's actions, thoughts and decisions were realistic. Little things like that make me want to read more, and you did just an amazing job writing this because there was so much emotion and realistic aspects to it, I felt genuinely worried.
I think one of my favorite things about this piece had to be the fact that the boy went to talk to his cat and the cat didn't do anything. I know that some might have made the cat do something weird or cute to you know, try to get the character to realize he did not want to die but you kept it simple, the cat was a cat and just that alone made him want to live. The ending made me sad, and kind of proud I guess that he wanted to live after all but still sad that it was too late. Good job though.
