The Prologue - Part II - Comments

Comment Swap led me heere and I'm really glad it did. I enjoyed this first chapter, you've obviously put a lot of research into the gun knowledge and such. I liked your writing style, you explained a lot but barely anything at the same time, which is a really hard thing to do. Keep up the good work :)

So I wasn't sure what to expect when commet swap gave me this story. The title kind of threw me off a little; there just felt like there was a bit too much information there. I did like the summary though, it was interesting and set up the story nicely.

I really like your writing style, it was definitely a pleasant surprise. You were very descriptive and added dialogue in just the right places. I felt a little lost throughout the plot though. It wasn't too bad, because I still understand what was supposed to be happening, but I felt like I needed to read the first part on order to get to know the characters.

Overall though, this was really well done. Nice job! :)

Honestly, I don’t really read these kinds of stories very often because they don’t appeal to me, but putting that aside, yours is absolutely brilliant. I understood from the summary section that this isn’t a full length novel, rather a collection of short stories; that already makes this awesome, haha. I have yet to read the first part of this, and I’ll do that when I can. I doubt I’ve seen this done before, and I can’t wait to see what happens to your main character (:

I’m interested to find out more of this (it seems) post-Apocalyptic world of yours and what Madeline is going to do and where she’ll be heading off to. You have just the right amount of description and dialogue to keep the reader interested until the end; your characters shine, even though we may not know a whole lot about them at this point in the story. Overall, this story has great characters and an intense plot (so far), and I hope to find out the bigger background story of this whole world in the coming chapters.
