This chapter was better, and it was interesting to see Jax really make a move on her. It's looking more and more like him and Shadows are going to end up having one hell of a fight, and I can't wait to see it!

I felt this chapter was a little rushed, to be honest. But that's not to say that it didn't provide a lot of essential information.

So she has to get close to them, huh? Be on the inside. Conflict of interest much? I'm also eager to see whether or not Shadows finds out what happens. I thought it was pretty stupid, talking about it with Jax at her workplace, where anybody could have heard and jumped to even bigger conclusions. But whatever, it's her funeral. =P

I love how you make Shadows the monster and Matt a douche. The encounters with Jax make me smile and I laughed at "give Trager my regards." because he's a douche too. =D

Syn is such a fucking douche to her. Like really, he acts like that as her mother dies?! Ugh he needs to see it from her side, I mean really. I lovve how strong she is. She isn't timid and I think that's really important like she said. But yeah, I love this story. :3 Just saying.

I'm used to Matt being fairly sweet in most fics, so this is a big change. Not a bad one though, just different.

I feel bad for the poor girl. I especially don't like that Eliza that she works with. Blehh.

I definitely get why Maura can't love Shadows the way he wants her to. I mean he is very possessive of her and his alter ego Shadows seems to have fully enevopled Matt. She can't see Matt anymore but just Shadows. To me it seems that he pressured her into what he wants. Maura hasn't really gotten the time to mourn the death of the only true family ever had despiter her extended one with Avenged. I wouldn't be surprise if she becomes closer to Jax because he has softer side to him that shows more than Shadows. I can't wait for the next update!
