I wouldn't say this is angst exactly; more kind of gore but it had an effect on me emotionally, nonetheless.
It does seem quite rushed, but some of the descriptions are divine; 'pale and calloused hands' in particular. Plot wise it is good; thought it doesn't make perfect sense in some places. 'X' insults her, calls her gullible and says he will not bring back her husband, but in the same sentence states he will bring back said husband and give her immortal life? As well as her being scared one moment then lusting after eternal life the next. There is also a noticeable lack of emotions; what she's feeling. At the start it's nicely proposed, but deeper in the only hint I have is the tone of her voice when speaking, working some more emotions in would be invaluable.
Altogether I enjoyed reading this, and it defiantly gave me feelings aha; good work ^-^
