I had to think long and hard about exactly what to put in my comment, so here's my little rant. I think it goes without saying that I'd love to see Chelsea with Colson. However, love is not a bandaid, and just because they love one another doesn't mean it's all flowers and bunnies and rainbows from here if she chooses him (nor would it be with Adam). But I do think that despite the circumstances (meaning the fact that she's currently standing at the altar), she should still carry the burden of an educated choice for a bit longer. Clearly Adam would be hurt if she left him (and I say this with double meaning - at the altar/left him for Colson), but perhaps he could give her some space and attempt to understand how complex her love for Colson is, all while learning how to forgive her, regardless of whom she chooses. All the same Colson needs to prove himself to Chelsea, and not just that he's changed, but he needs to show her that it's possible to move past that history they have together and still be happy. Because the fact is, sometimes there's so much history that it's IMPOSSIBLE to move past it.

As far as Milli is concerned, because I have to address it since monroe123 mentioned him, I just want to say that their friendship has been compromised enough. You've filled the chapters with their loyalty and dedication and humor and love, and while on some note it would make sense that she could choose him, her overpowering love for Colson has been practically bleeding from the pages. Milli didn't make her forget before, so he can't make her forget now, and I'd hate to see their friendship morph any more than it already has. But clever, clever you for adding such flavor to your story. ;-) I will say that I do hope you continue to address his feelings at some point in the future. I'd like to know what his final say is on this whole debacle.

I think you could roll either way: continue with this one or begin a sequel. My feeling is that due to the length of this you could absolutely keep going, because there are still so many immediate issues to address. All the same, if you've got a clear idea in mind and you know how you can devise some sort of natural pause between this and a sequel then go ahead. What's your gut tell you?

On a personal note, after writing all this I'm thinking about a metaphor for writing that I have long believed to be true. We, as writers, create characters. Once those characters are birthed they take on a life of their own. Then we, still as the writers, simply become the vehicle. Our characters get behind the wheel and they are the forces that drive us. I remember finishing my first novel when I was 17. I did not predict the ending at all. The whole time I thought I knew and I could never have predicted how wrong I'd turn out to be. I say this because I have no idea what you've got up your sleeve...and I wonder if you don't know, either. Writing is always incredible, but what a spectacular feeling it is to know that a force of our creation ultimately drives us. Either way, I'm so curious to see what you've got in store...

P.S. If you've never tried one, make a white chocolate raspberry martini. It's a delightful companion while brainstorming.

It's very hard to balance everything so really I write for pleasure because I don't like the pressure of deadlines anyway. I'm very happy that people are still following and reading though so I try my best to be mindful of that while also managing life outside of Mibba (school, volunteering, work, family, boyfriend, friends, etc.).
I'm really glad you're enjoying it so far; I hope I don't disappoint with the coming chapters.

I don't think chapter 13 is crappy at all. I've spent the last couple hours reading this from start to finish and I'm totally digging it. I like that you're taking your time with it - I can't stand when stories jump from one thing to the next merely to satiate a readers appetite for a substantial ending. You're doing a very nice job and I'm looking forward to reading more!

So I was losing motivation to keep writing this story, and I thought I'd go through and re-read everything to give myself a better sense of direction. I copied & pasted every chapter into Word and realized this story is 80 pages long already! That made me happy.

She's an idiot -.- Adam is an idiot -.- MGK is an idiot -.- WHY ARE THEY ALL IDIOTS?!? I mean come on-.- TRAVIS AND CHELSEA JUST NEED TO GET TOGETHER. KAY THANKS.
