Difficult situations are never easy, but I guess it does make things simpler when there's no shadowing. Helen was a bitch who deserved nothing, she's lucky she got the clothing. Alice really could have kicked her to the curb with nothing and then had a field day burning all Helen's clothing, that could have been fun haha. But I'm glad she was mature and sensible about the ordeal. Now, to move on with her life.
I freaking loved this, I'm so glad that's over for Alice, she doesn't have to worry about it anymore, she can move on and mourn now.

Poor Alice! I'm glad she got to see him and say her piece, and I'm glad she has Brian by her side. Even though it hurts, it was best for her father to let go. He needed to know someone was there to take care of his daughter. I've actually seen someone do that...my grandfather passed away less than 24 hours after my grandmother told him it was okay.

Now I dread her first interaction with Helen. If she snaps and stabs her, I think we'll all cheer. ;)
