I only thought about the minor thing because to even GET a (n American) passport for a child, both parents need to be present when submitting the application to the passport office or have the application for the passport notorized while in the presence of both parents. I figured the transport of others' kids would be similarly difficult to arrange legally; they've really tightened laws and such on the international travel of minor children because of the increasing number of children being taken to one parent's native country without the permission or even knowledge of the other parent during divorce or separation. This is probably one of those instances where you have to have previous knowledge to even know that research needs to be done in order to be accurate.

Yeah I'm going to excuse the thing about flying minors from country to country, because honestly, it doesn't matter that much. But anyway, I really did like this story! I tend to steer away from Briere stories because I just kind of despise the Flyers, but I really liked this one! So great job making me like a character that I'd usually hate! Glad he and Lorelei were together in the end.

This was a nice chapter; unfortunately the premise of the chapter is unfeasible. You need the written (and witnessed/notarized) permission of both parents to legally take someone else's child out of the country without their parents.

Handwaving over those minor details, it's nice they were able to be together on Christmas.
