Great use of the quote! Like some other commenters, I really liked Megan's character by the end, even though I didn't at first. Great job and I'll post the results later today!

I read this and fell in love of it. Seeing how she was hurt made me hurt and then the fourth chapter where they got together i started to feel bad because i was afraid she was going to get hurt again. This was great. even though it wasn't necessarily a sappy ending it was a great ending.

First, yay Megan came out of the closet! I liked Megan's character and I applaud her for being the bigger person and realizing that although she wanted to go bat shit on Kat a) she no longer even plays for the same team anymore, b) making out with Jennifer , thus getting what she actually wanted, contextually is the equivalent of Kat and Jeff's 'oh, you again' bang and c) because moving on from Jeff mad her realize that she's in love with Jennifer that she is repaying her by trying to get Kat and Jeff back together. Slightly sad there was none of Mike's insane awesomeness and I'm still slightly wondering about what happened to that sex tape/ why Richie said he was an ass to Kat, but I still loved the ending, and I loved Kat, and Richie, and Megan (at first her stupidity was comic relief, then she became the voice of reason), and I did like Jeff a lot too. Kind of sad to see this end, but I'm also excited for updates to your other stories (Maddi and Zach now that Ava knows who her dad is, Carson on her own while Jack tries to woo her back, and what happened that crazy night that left Em in need of an intervention, Jamie paralyzed and Asher in who knows what state with Jack helping her pick up the pieces, to name a few)!

Holy mother of God, I want to be Kat. Get to fuck and chuck Jeff freaking Carter?? I know that's not how the story will end but that would be the winner of any and all sex story conversations with your group of girlfriends over glasses of wine! I want that!!! ;)

Okay I praise Kat for acknowledging the elephant in the room (Megan), but honestly once your girlfriend starts making out with a girl, and you know said girlfriend is bisexual, at your birthday party of all times;I say that relationship is pretty much over.At first I was pissed at Jeff for getting Kat to forgo her gut instinct (& Kat for giving up) because I'm certain that somehow Megan will hear of this and will go "hell hath a woman scorned" by either going to the press or some girlfriend website to say he cheated or will raise hell at work for Kat. And the whole time they were having sex all I thought was, didn't they make a sex tape, or an erotica, or something of that nature and how is this not gong through either of their minds? Isn't that what started this mess? And I completely understand why Kat left, whether it was too many memories, or she's not ready to talk about why the first go around failed, or she doesn't want to overstay her welcome, have someone who's not Richie come in, and become known to all WAGs who liked Megan as the slut who stole Jeff by acting like a hooker. I think Megan will find out because Jeff will talk about it to Mike so that he can rant/ get advice, Mike will tell Lindsey as he will be so thrilled for his mentions of Megan to simply be the annual 'Carts remember that one girlfriend you had, God what was her name, that I hated and at your birthday party made out with a chick and then you had sex with Kat?", and Lindsey I think liked Megan enough to tell her all about what Mike told her. Oh, don't worry, I like all the guys you've written stories about, Jeff just might be the most. And God Jeff acted like a moron. Really, of all the girlfriends to kiss and tell ( or film a sex tape and tell) you have to choose the gm's daughter? Or if she made this probably provocative for him why share it with all your teammates? Did someone need to get off? And see, even Jeff knows how stupid Megan's logic is. Jeff must be insanely drunk for him not to remember Kat, either that or she a) has the best disguise, ever, or b) Mike really can't get through to him. So, Mike was an ass to Kat and is apologizing for his mistakes and trying to cheer him up, and is "you know Megan" code for she has the IQ of an amobea. If so, I'll repeat I love Richie. Please tell me Jeff has realized The Kat he remembers and party Kat are the same person, or else he's assuming there's more coincidences then in Les Miserables. And while it's intriguing that Megan is bi, she's still an idiot (unless she's a lesbian, which is fine, and is using this to get out of a fake straight relationship, then she's a genius). And now either cue a confrontation by someone or a sleezy guy trying to get in her pants. Hope everything is better with your family and update soon!

Okay I just found this, and as a Jeff Carter fan (everything with him last season was so damn interesting) I just had to check it out. As soon as he said 'my team' I had a feeling it was either Holmgren or Snider's daughter. And the idea that the daughter having with Jeff what I assume is a sex tape is what pushes the trade to Columbus is really interesting, and one I've thought about a lot. (Not the tape, just the idea of a daughter's failed romances impacting the roster). Although the eight years is perplexing, this happened eight years ago and the repercussions were only felt now (I'm assuming that their relationship affected Jeff being traded, at least a little bit.) And I had to chuckle that at the Ritz -Carlton of all places Kat's basically dressed like a call girl. God, drunk Richie, now I love Mike Richards in general (as well as the epic bromance between him and Jeff) but he's the voice of reason right now, the drunken voice of reason, but still the voice of reason. When he said he couldn't stand Megan and everything that went with it, I just had to chuckle and think oh, Richie. And in the name of God, Megan is, in a word, a ditz with the iq of a kitten. Because yes, girl dressed like a pinup who knows my boyfriend (and happens to be his one-that-got-away-ex) please jump out of his birthday cake and sing Happy Birthday in the 'happy birthday Mr. President' style when he's doubly drunk (once for new years, once for his birthday). What could possibly go wrong? I can't wait to see Jeff and Kat together (and much more Mike, sober or drunk). Update soon!
