This is quite insightful, I must say. The first big chunk of the story was spent feeling sympathy for Dylan. I mean, how can anyone not feel bad for her? She has gone through massive heartbreak and you know what, it hurt! First we kind of believe that Heather is a selfish bitch who used Dylan and broke her heart, but near the end, I kind of believe that Heather actually cared for Dylan before, and it's because she cared, that she had to break up with her. Heather didn't feel like they could be together anymore, therefore, breaking it off. At least that's what I think. It is better to break up when she's not into it, than to remain in the relationship, which will hurt Dylan more in the long run.

This story perfectly portrayed the struggle between making the one that hurt you hurt as bad as you do as revenge and still loving that person and just wanting her to love you in return so that things are better again. In addition, there was a perfect amount of drama in this story and although it doesn't give the closure of a happy ending, the thrill of reading it makes up for it.
