  • Lovely story! I love your writing style, it's very well refined and I also appreciated that after creating a tense or embarrassing situation for a character you explain it well and offer suggestions or reasons for the way in which they feel (and perhaps why they shouldn't feel that way), either through other characters interacting with them or through an explanatory paragraph after the event.

You have developed your main characters well and given them believably shocking pasts which they partially share (indirectly), thus creating a strong bond between them through related hardships.

Your writing also shows knowledge (linguistically speaking and product speaking for games) which I was impressed by. As a reader, I always feel better assured of the author's writing when they display bouts of knowledge relevant to the story in this way. As a reader, I am learning from your writing and I am thankful for that.

Jinyoung's past in North Korea has not been touched on yet, but this is understandable considering how long it took Emiko to reveal an especially dark period from her past despite several prompts for her to reveal it from other characters (which I thought was a cool ongoing form of foreshadowing in itself which encourages readers to read on).

I eagerly await to hear more of Jinyoung's past. Keep up the good work!

  • I don't really like to read romance stories because of the cliche plots and dry girls... but this plot is original and Emiko is awesome! I'm so into it. Keep writing you're doing great! ^_^

  • This has gotten so interesting :) I absolutely love it. Their histories are so traumatic, buts its brought them together to be strong. You've done such a great job with developing their characters and even the imagery of the story. I cannot wait to read more!
