hello! i just started reading this series, and i think it's fantastic! i love your characters & plot & writing style, you're a really great writer! hope there's an update soon
Gah, I'm so glad she was able to lure that dude outside and manage to fend him off long enough for him to get killed. Also I like how Darian spoke to Bucky in Russian but he responded in English.
:{ I just want to get Steve a hug. Though I did thoroughly enjoy the mini-lecture/questioning. And Kate and Peter, yay!
Also Steve listening to Rocko. I just really like their dynamic, okay?
Motherfucking LMDs. The plot thickens.
AND I DID THINK YOU'D END IT THERE BECAUSE YOU ARE A CRUEL PERSON AND LIKE TO TORTURE ME WITH FICTION. But I'm glad you didn't lol.
I always feel the urge to temple my fingers and laugh maniacally whenever someone mentions Roxxon, Kronas, or Lukin. I mean, really, if the movie doesn't include any of that I'm going to ignore that they didn't.
A part of me almost finds it hard to feel bad for Darian right now, which idk if that's a bad thing or not, because I do understand that she's young and probably terrified in her own right, but like she said, she should have told Steve the information before now.
Heh heh. Hehehehe. I'm enjoying the toying with the Crossbones is an infiltrator at SHIELD. Also Sin; I love to hate her and hate to love her.
Poor angry/sad/guilt-consumed Steve :{
And I'll throw you out of a window for sure if you JUST END IT RIGHT THERE.
So, I'm hoping Kennedy is okay (well, obviously she's not, she's seriously injured but you know). At first I thought the blonde was going to be Yelena but now I don't know if I'm wrong or what.
Wait, is it Sharon?! It's Sharon, isn't it?
Marvel has too many blondes, like damn.
The violence and blood was lovely and intense, and I eagerly await the next chapter.
I was all thoroughly enjoying the snarkiness between Yelena and Clint and then she named-dropped Baintronics and I was like, oh shit.
Without a word, he tossed the glove onto the table, mumbled something unintelligible, and left the room.
Oh Tony :{
Once again you never fail to bring the action. I was glad to see Rocko again, though I hope Rose is somewhere safe. Also the last two lines, I'm just like, shit got real.
Looking forward to more but you already know that lol.
He was probably one of the only people that could pull off the intimidating, blue-eyed golden retriever look dressed in jeans and a white t-shirt without looking like a douchebag. Did Hallmark make a card for that?
Hallmark really should make a card for that.
“The real one won’t die that easily.”
WHY THIS?
Oh, Darian...you tried.jpg.
Things just get more and more intense with each chapter, don't they? lol. I'm really looking forward to this next chapter; can't wait to see how that whole conversation/ordeal is going to go over.
It was almost five in the morning. Before he realized it, he had dialed Kennedy’s number to call her and wake her up. She still wasn’t in the habit of waking up on time for Rose on her own. As his thumb pressed the ‘call’ key, he realized what he was doing.
And I'm sad three paragraphs in.
Also I loved the dialogue between Natasha and Clint haha.
“I think he said something about going to Dubai, for a wedding"
WHY WOULD YOU EVEN REMIND ME OF THIS OMG NO BETHANOR OW.
Ghost whined and Steve looked down at the Rottweiler who stared back at him with sad brown eyes. The Rottweiler moped all day and all night long, casting sorrowful looks at everyone and whining at night. On Steve’s bed, he would lie in the same spot that he would lie in on Kennedy’s bed. It was the spot right between Kennedy and he; the spot that Steve had to claim before Ghost did or spend the night with a dog curled against his side.
“Me too,” Steve sighed before rubbing his face.
I just really like this part for some reason.
Poor Darian. Though I do think it was good that Steve didn't start asking her questions about where she'd been or what had happened, but then again, maybe he should. I can't decide if it's a good thing or not haha.
Clint, you have the best timing when it comes to telling people important things /sarcasm.
So he sat silent beside Clint in the car as the archer broke, possibly, every traffic law known to man.
Goddammit, Clint.
O_O damn.
Double damn, it was Darian who burned the body. Wait, that was Darian POV right? If so, yeah okay, maybe Steve should have asked (not that she would have just told him).
Anyway, loved it as usual and looking forward to the next chapter XD
Also, Kennedy really likes dislocating her thumbs.
"Dun dun dun" indeed. Lots of stuff going on in this chapter and all of it I liked, even though it's giving me anxiety for when Steve runs into Kennedy again.
I absolutely love this story!! I read the two others leading up to this one this past week, and I love every single one of them!! Please update soon, I was used to just reading chapter after chapter, and now I have to wait! Haha (:
I think Steve has a hard time with knowing what would be more expedient or useful to do in a situation and knowing what would be moral/just/right and always choosing to do what he sees as right. I mean, he's got to know that interrogating Darian would be the best course of action (best course being the more expedient/useful one), but he also see it as wrong so he refuses to do it. And I think that's bothering him a lot, because he is worried about Kennedy but also knows that getting whatever information they possibly could through interrogating Darian isn't right. Plus, as he said, interrogating her wouldn't get her to talk (or so he believes), so I'm interested in how this truth serum is going to go.
I have probably said this before, but I'll say it again, you have a great character voice for Clint.
And what are you up to Darian?
As usual, I'm looking forward to more (while dreading the feels).
*sobs* Poor Kennedy D: you're killing me with this, Bethanor, killing me.
And the Asgardians have arrived to fuck shit up. Aw yeah. I also like how Steve was just completely unbothered by their arrival like, 'yep, I've seen stranger'.
I'm super scared about Kennedy's fate (fate seems like a dramatic word but hey, it's the only one I can think of so we'll just have to deal with it). But also excited for Freyja being fierce. Because while she's mostly mythologically associated with love and beauty, she's also associated with war and death (I mean, of course she is, she's an Asgardian).
