Giveaway prize! Okay, well it's not really my kind of story, but I'll give it a go. I think the story could benefit with a few different sentence starters. In the beginning, it was very difficult to really feel that she had been through any sort of adversity or that Calix felt anything for Cain. It read more like a summary, devoid of emotion.
