This is a fictional story. Fantasy, supernatural. It's the point of this genre, you can create your own world, your own rules, there are no boundaries. You can't take it that seriously. Let her imagination flow. I see death as an angel too but I really like it how she portrayed him here. Anyway, keep it up, I really like your story :)

I really like this so far, unfortunately I'm too tired to continue reading for tonight, so stopped halfway through chapter two! Seriously though, this is a really neat idea. It reminds me a bit of The Book Thief.

To me Death doesn't exist. It's the angel of death that comes.

And what's wrong with talking about religion? For some reason..Anything that has meaning no one wants to discuss about it and remain ignorant...

And I did comment on your writing... That's why I mentioned religion at all...

    Anyways bye

But, Death's not an angel. He's just sort of a being. And why wouldn't God have a figure? I'm kind of basing this off of Supernatural, where there are prophets in modern day, and they are given their powers by archangels. Besides, this is just a story. A fictional story. Where I'm in control, and my characters do what I want, regardless of what beliefs exist in reality. Please, comment on my writing, not my religion. I don't mean to twist anything.

You have nice writing but there are a lot things I think you should think about.

God doesn't have a figure and angels certainly can't negotiate with him. God is unique and Angels are made of light. They only do good as whatever God wants.

And there are no more prophets.. Prophets are messengers with info from God... Not angels' pets or workers.

I know this is just a story, but if you make up things about religion and beliefs someone might believe them... Or you might be accountable...

Anyways even in stories... I don't like how you twisted things.

This is pretty good, except for the dialogue. I mean, you shouldn't put them side by side.
Do it sort of like this:

    “This isn't okay.”
“I know.” Death’s tone is guilty, and she looks towards his voice with surprise.
“It’s not your fault. I still like you.”
    “Good.”
Sadie leans forward, feeling overwhelmed and slightly ill. “I thought angels are supposed to be nice.”
“To be honest, most of them are awful,” Death admits and she laughs, a little bitter but still beautiful.

Other than that, I love it.
