I really like this drabble. I think you did a great job capturing the feelings, the pain, and the hopelessness of depression. The what's the point? attitude of it is great and I liked the part where you listed what's expected out of life and how depression makes it all seems so insignificant and useless because it allows you to see yourself in the context of the universe as a whole. You just nailed it with that.
I like that you included the typical metaphors like calling it a darkness and referring to death as sleeping forever without them feeling cliche. I also really enjoyed that while it's a bleak outlook, you did mention happiness and sometimes feeling slightly better before it just manages to drag you down again. You did a great job expressing this feeling in writing.
