I love Mulan and I have never seen a story about her on here before so I love that you are doing it. You certainly seem to know where you're going with it and I can't wait to see where you're going with this story and what kind of twist you will write. Ooh, exciting!
The only comments I can give you right now, is I know that you are writing this in first person so it can be hard not to use the word 'I' too much but if you can phrase a sentence differently, it would work better, otherwise the reader is reading I, I, I over and over again and it can become a blur to the mind.
