So this story was a bit cliche, but I chose to read it anyway. The ending was quite sad, because it just kind of ended abruptly. I liked all of the imagery and metaphors with colors and emotions and just like relating them to the difficult situations. I found that truly powerful and that definitely made this story unique; I've never read anything quite like it before. However, it was very contrasting with the way the rest of the story was written, so that kind of interrupted the flow of it a bit. I think maybe if you ever come back to this, you should write an epilogue in Alex's POV. Because I feel like this definitely lacked in seeing his last thought. Or perhaps rewrite the story, if you ever feel the motivation. Prolong their love story just a tad and don't rush things. The abrupt ending was kind of harsh, but I could see it if maybe the story had been a bit longer or if there was more of a conclusion with Alex. Overall, this wasn't that bad. I definitely have read worse, but I've also read better. It has the potential to be an amazing story if it's reworked a little bit, or more of a conclusion was added. And yeah, even though it's been a few years since you finished it, I just thought I would leave my feedback to let you know people are still stumbling across it.
