I mean what does she expect to happen she had an encounter with the Joker of course people r goin to feel sympathetic I mean it's amazing tht she is still alive, can't wait to read more update as soon as u can :)
Beautiful imagery in this chapter. I especially like the line about her yawn being like the unraveling string of a sweater. I seriously love pieces like this where it's someone doing every day things but their mind walks a mile a minute and it just comes out beautifully here. :)
Oh Avery u done it now its as if u want the Joker to find u I mean damn can u at least fabricate it so tht the Joker won't have to kill u I'm just saying anyhoo can't wait to read more update as soon as u can :)
Hey, first of all let me apologise for taking so long to comment on this story. I promised you this yesterday after all. Anyways...
Your character Avery is very well written. The amount of description you've included about her is amazing. Making it really easy to relate to her and get into her mindset, to see the world from her point of view. The one thing I really liked about this story, is the fact that you made me feel emotions towards the different characters. Which is something quite powerful because if you can make someone really feel for your characters then all you need is a really good plot line (which you have) and you'll have a really epic story.
Now, I'm not sure whether you use a beta or whether you check it over yourself but I didn't find any faults with spelling or grammar. Which, is a big shock. Usually people have at least one or two per chapter but you don't seem to have any in all 4 of your chapters.
Also, you have a very wide range of vocabulary which is always a good thing. I'll definitely be looking at your other stories.
Courtney xoxo P.S - Congratulations for winning my competition, I should be holding another one next Sunday at the same time :)
I keep reading Avery's name as "a very" and it makes me laugh. Haha. xD
I really like how you describe things in your writing. Like "Harvey Dent Day was lying in tatters on the floor". It just sounds so eloquent, the way you write.
I am so excited to see where you go with this. My only complaint is if you're sticking to the Nolan-verse Batman the Joker never called Batman 'Bat-brain' that was only the comic book one. That's a very little factor but it's one that sticks out a lot to me. Otherwise, can't wait for an update.
