Not a Sound - Comments

This has been a great story! I just spent the last hour reading it. I was wondering about the chapter titles but then you explained XD It's been great reading something written by a fellow band nerd too! I'm personally a clarinet. My band has about 150 students, and for concert season we have Symphonic band and Concert band (2nd band technically) We're an all superior band, and I thought it was interesting to read about another band. Luckily though, our band camp is one week for regular marchers (aka, not drumline or flag) and we go from 8 to 10:30 outside and then have a lunch break before working inside from 11:30 to 1.

Gah, I need to stop talking now Anyway, this was such an amazing story! Sorry about my longwinded paragraph about band.... I am a true band nerd <3

Loved this story! The characters were super original compared to a lot of the stories I've read recently. Also, I love how music played a role in this, possibly because I'm a bit of a band nerd. Still, I think that whole theme put against the fact that Aria is deaf was quite wonderful.

I just found this and it's so good!!! I really wanna know why that girl hates her...can't wait for more.

I really like this story. I'm actually near deaf 80 %. This is the first story with a deaf character i've read since losing my hearing. It's really good.

Wow, this is quite beautiful. :) I'm already quite excited what's going to happen next, cause your story's quite unique and a refreshment compared to all those stereotypical stories out there.

The characters are fleshed out well in this. It didn't take me long to know each character was, even without their name. I don't think we've been given either of the two main characters name, but I love the way you write them. It makes sense that the deaf girl would be a push-over, and I look forward to seeing her grow most. The whole feeling of the story is relaxed and quite, which is nice. I do think that there would be more mentions of her other senses, though I don't want to tell you how to write, it's just a suggestion because she is missing quite an important sense.
