Ah, this is a very interesting take on writing a story! Elizabeth is already kind of a quirky character, but there's nothing wrong with quirky. Hahaha.
Although, I do have to say that if you want to do a story where people decide what happens next, you might want to make a little more context for them to play off. Maybe the two of them could go to the birthday party? That's the best suggestion I could make based on the short chapter. :)
