His Happiness, Her Heartbreak - Comments

Aw, this was so bittersweet. On one hand, the way you described her heartbreak at seeing Eli in love with someone else was just painfully great and I think you did a brilliant job capturing that slight jealously and utter disappointment that comes along with being in that position. On the other hand, it's heartwarming that she loves Eli so much and so purely that she's willing to sacrifice her feelings as long as he's happy. I really liked that although she's hurt by Eli not loving her in the same way she loves him, she doesn't say anything negative about his girlfriend because she knows she makes Eli happy so she can't be bad if that's the case.

The unrequited love aspect to this story is just lovely. It's well-written, flows wonderfully, and is full of emotion. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
