    Layout / Summary

I like that the layout has this crazy thing going on where it's almost like two different worlds. The background is so tranquil and lovely, but then the header image is zany and filled with colour. Neither distract from reading and both go so well together, so I'm definitely a fan.

Your summary is worded so beautifully as well. It captures the essence of Alice in Wonderland that I know and love so well from my childhood and it gives a little taster of what is to come, which got me pretty excited!

    Content

It has been mentioned below, but the way that you portray the Hatter is so on-point that I kind of want to cry with happiness. I've seen stories where he's been butchered or made to be way over the top, but this is just... you've got the perfect balance between him being that little bit zany and that little bit charming. You've got his characterisation down to a fine art for sure.

The way that everything is written just makes perfect sense in the AIW universe. You've got the Hatter and these delightfully short sentences that add to the kind of speedy flow that the story has overall, and you've got all of these tiny little details that just make it all that more real, like the dormouse napping on the muffins.

The ending is so bittersweet, when he finally realises that he's just feeling that way because of Alice. I don't know whether to laugh or cry!

I have absolutely nothing to suggest in terms of constructive criticism. This piece is just perfect the way it is. You've got a strong grasp on how to write the characters and you do so in such a wonderful way. Your writing really is a delight to read!

So I probably would not have read a Alice in Wonderland fanfiction if it weren't for you and I found this story extremely interesting.

Right away I love the characterization of the Mad Hatter. He is absolutely frantic and confused about his feelings for Alice and I love that idea. He was so confused about what was going on. You captured his personality very well in this story. He made me laugh, but he also made me a little sad.

This was just a wonderful, descriptive story. I haven't seen that movie in a while but you brought me back into that world with your writing. The details were amazing and beautiful. What an great little read. Cute

Awh Lee, that was so adorable. The Hatter was just so adorably innocent I just felt bad that he didn't know what was really going on inside of his body. Poor guy. I loved all of your characters. I'm not extremely familiar with the Alice in Wonderland characters but I remembered these few and I think you captured their personalities very well. I've got to say though, I adored Dormouse. She was so adorable. c:

I was also sort of sad when the butterflies went away and the Hatter was actually looking for them. So clueless. In Love I think that you should write more amazing stories so I can enjoy and comment on them. tehe

This story is excellent, and you portrayed the Hatter and the rest of the characters well! I adore the way you wrote this and drew out to the point where Hatter realizes that the bread-and-butterflies are due to Alice. I also love the artwork at the top of the story, it fits it well. :)

I really enjoyed reading this little story! I love how you had him repeating things and talking as if everything was nonsense. It's very Mad Hatter like :) I caught something in there where you called the Dormouse a she and then a he... so I would look at that if I were you, but other than that, I absolutely loved it! I can't believe you haven't gotten any comments on it yet. Very good description, though a short little thing, and once again, love <3 lol
