I love Ellen Hopkins and I think it's cool that you're trying to write the way she does. It's definitely a challenge and I like that you're doing something different. I like the story so far! I just feel a little disconnected from the characters but I know you're writing in verses so it's harder to get the character's personality across. I hope you keep up with it. I would love to see how you develop your characters. And maybe slow down the pace a little. I just felt like it was sort of rushed. Either way, great job so far! :)
