Oh I've read Harder than Stone and Boys 'Round Here (she's killing me with Nealer. He needs his own sequel to that one) Such great stories. I hope one day, you decide to continue this story. In the meantime, I'll continue to be a loyal reader! :)

Awwwww thanks so much! This story will always have a place in my heart since it's the first one I've started. I'm finishing up a Steven Stamkos story and have lots of other stuff in the kicker so watch for that. You guys are awesome! I promise I'll be finishing this story...eventually! Need to finish my Stammer story and then I've got a few other things on the horizon, but James and Cassidy's story won't be hanging forever. Fear not!

Hey guys! Thank you all SO much for your super-sweet comments and feedback. As a writer your lovely notes are so wonderful and special and make this process so much fun!

I'm not going to lie - I'm having a bit of writer's block with this story right now, so I'm taking a bit of time off from James and Cassidy. You might not have noticed but I changed the status of the story to "taking a hiatus." Don't hate me!

I've got lots of writing in the kicker that I hope you enjoy - my Stammer story, plus a bunch of other one-shots that I'm having lots of fun with. I'm going nowhere and neither are these two - they'll be back in early fall, once I can stare at James' GORGEOUS mug every other night on the TV. Plenty of story fodder once I get some of my other projects out of the way.

In the meantime, check out my other bits that I'm writing and stay tuned for more...YEARS more coming for these two. Mwah! ;)
