I'm rooting for Leo and Tallulah as well! I think Leo is awesome and super sweet and he makes her feel safe and happy. Which is really good for her. And I really hope Adonis doesn't win custody. How could he though? He beat and cheated on his wife. He couldn't possibly be fatherly material...?!
Just a quick note, the last half of this chapter was all in italics. Other than that, this was amazing and I'm looking forward to the next chapter!

ngl I was literally thinking about this story yesterday. I haven't been on Mibba much lately, but I always remember that this story is on here and how much I love it.

HOWEVER:
my worst fears concerning A**ie have come true re: him threatening to take custody of Essie (Esperanza is the cutest name ever though!). I'm taking a law class now and Leo is going to have one heck of a time proving that Tallulah is a fit mother and that her only action was in self-defense. Also considering this is taking place in the '70s? The burden of proof is going to be heavy. Hopefully she gets a sympathetic judge and jury.

I'm so proud of Tallulah for standing up to Addie when he wanted to visit Essie, though. And she's 100% right in the fact that she didn't do anything wrong. Let's just hope a court sees that.

Esperanza is such a lovely name! I think Leo and Tallulah would be super cute together, I can't wait to see if they start to like each other (even though Isee some hints in this chapter already).

This was one of my favourite chapter in story. It was super long - thank you for that! - and very detailed. I could feel the pain from her contractions, and I felt so bad for her!
But good for her for standing up to Addie like that! I was really surprised by that, and good for her! Put Addie in his place!
I also loved the plot twist. A baby girl, how cute. Tallulah is going to Mae a wonderful mother!
And thanks so much for mentioning me in your previous chapter! I would love to be a babysitter!
