First of all; thank you for updating so fast!(: this new chapter was great, just like the other three. It was so exciting, and made me want to read more. The way they tried to insult each other made me feel a bit sad, but I admire your language; the way you can build a scene, a mental image, but you still give your reader a chance to use her imagination. I love the way Jean is, innocent and shy, when Marie is a bit "spoiled". Great chapter!July 14th, 2013 at 12:31pm

This story was very interesting to read. I am not too familiar with the history of France, so this also taught me a few things. I love the way you have described the luxorious life and the poor life. This story was flawless, easy and nice to read. Not too heavy and sad, but not too happy, either. I wish there were more chapters, but I subscribed so I hope there will be soon. I love the mixture of English and French, even though I cant really speak a word French. It gives this story a nice touch of elegance and reality.
