I'm here (finally!) judging the entries for my An Album of Inspiration contest!

    Layout and Summary

Your layout is lovely. Everything gels really well together and the pale colours make it really easy to read. I love the banner as well! Restless Dream is probably one of my favourite songs ever as well, so I'm really glad that you've chosen to use that one in the summary. It's an interesting set of lyrics as well, which makes me really intrigued to find out what the story itself is going to entail.

    Content

I think I've said this before, but every time I read your work I'm absolutely blown away by the way that you describe everything and anything. You've really got a way with words and this is certainly no exception to that rule. The way that you describe everything, right down to the music that Logan is listening to is just amazing. I can't even describe why I find it so alluring, but the way that you paint everything is just perfect. I can't fault any aspect of it.

In terms of the story itself, I really like how cute this entire thing is. I've always wondered how long-distance relationships (or relationships with an element of constant apart-ness) work, but this seems to make sense to me. The idea of there only being a plane journey between them, or the fact that when Logan finally gets back, everything feels like home eventually is really lovely. What I like the most, though, is that you don't just have everything diving back into normality, you've got this sense that the entire thing is so much more realistic than that. This honestly seems incredibly feasible to me, and that's what I like about this piece, the realism. I can absolutely imagine this happening and it's different to all of the drama and crime and everything else that is on Mibba.

    Constructive Criticism

Didn't see anything that I could point out!

    Overall

This is a wonderful start. I'm really excited to see where you take this, mainly because it is so different from everything else I've read on here. There are rarely any characters with kids and if they do have kids, they're usually just a little side-note. This takes children and family life into the spotlight and i really do love it. Awesome job!

Hi, Judge's Comment for the Mibba Month Self-Insert Contest!

I don't think I've ever read a piece with such excellent description before, honestly. And all of it is just so genuine; nothing's contrived. Particularly their interactions, you did a very nice job there. There's no forced guilt, or anything that's meant to make it seem like a fault, although it might be. The name's are unique, as well as the combination of character traits and how delicately you portray them. It's incredibly refreshing to read something that feels new.

I can't say I understand how it feels to have kids. But I would hope it would be something like this - and that's the great part of your writing, how natural yet hopeful it is. Excellent technically and grammatically, just wonderful overall!
