Firstly, I loved the banner- it's so cute! You make the cutest banners ever, you really do! Also I love the title- that song kicks ass!
Anyways onto the actual story. I love how you jumped right into the action right at the beginning- I genuinely jolted when Val called Matt and told him that people were in the house. The way you write makes it all come alive in front of me, that's such a great skill to have.
With the second chapter, honestly, my heart burned slightly for Matt, it really did. I was so scared for him. Seeing Matt scared and crying is quite the opposite of how people normally see him, it's a nice juxtaposition.
Awwww poor Brian! I can see why Michelle left, especially with the dangers, but I feel so sorry for him :(

I wanted to make both men very....raw? It didn't go so well with Brian, but I felt really good about how I wrote Matt finding out about Val and such like that. I'm glad that you enjoy this, and yes I will update soon :P
