Not only did the layout draw me in, but the first chapter did much more. It's such a unique idea for a story. Of course it reminds me of Tuck Everlasting, but I surely hope I won't be as heartbroken at this story as I was with that one!
The shortness of the chapter is such a good idea for a first chapter because it's not an intimidating piece for a new-time reader. Then, you add the good writing technique and enticing story line and you've got yourself an amazing story :D!
Immortality as a whole completely scares me. Who would want to see everyone they love pass away and be stuck here forever? I definitely wouldn't want that. This world would get old after FOREVER!
Anyway, I think this is a great piece that has ton of potential that I know you'll fulfill and exceed. Great job so far!August 6th, 2013 at 05:29pm -
Wow, I was actually really pumped to read this. So congratulations on pulling me in by just a summary and a layout. I really expected the first chapter to be a lot longer but that's just fine. The shortness kind of makes it even more suspenseful and now I'm even more excited for an update.

I really want to know what's going on in this story. I love the title, but it doesn't tell me anything about what's going to happen and the suspense is killing me. It looks like it’s going to be one of those “my life turned around when I met them” kind of stories, which I always love.
I really like the first little chapter you have. Stories about immortality are always really interesting, because there's so many factors and things that can be tied in with it so it's always cool to see where people go with that one.
