I know you wanted smarties but this deserved a surprise treat:)
I nearly started to cry reading this, it was so beautiful and the emotion hit you so easily that my heart strings tightened up at the realisation she was gone :(

Drinking coffee every morning, this would be something I would hope my spouse would think of when drinking coffee and having breakfast. Seriously this was so sad and wonderful :3

Oh my God, that was beautiful. I mean, you killed my emotions. It's raining on my face. You took me on a feel trip. Just... wow. I loved your comparisons, they were described so perfectly. This was my absolute favorite, "She was like a storm during the dead of spring, and I was the calm like a winter's breeze." You could not have made that sound any more gorgeous than it already is. I enjoyed the way you wrote this, it seemed very down to earth, like it could have been anyone in his shoes.

I'm dying to know what she was diagnosed with, though. Anyways, I loved this to bits and pieces. It was amazing. Thank you so much for giving me this to read! This deserves a recommendation!
