The very first sentence intrigued me. It was just so... blunt, I guess. It really drew me in as a reader and made me just want to continue on with the rest of the short story. Anyway, but for some reason, after reading the rest of the story, I don't know if I can agree on the first sentence. I mean, I feel that she didn't kill him since he's the one who jumped, but, of course, there wasn't really an explanation on why they were there and why exactly he jumped.
But maybe that was the point in this, to not find out all of the answers, and to continue wondering what was the reasoning behind him jumping off the bridge. And the last line of the short story made me curious as well. This whole thing just makes me want to know why they did what they did! I love it.
