I know you said you dislike Avery, but I like him more now than I used to...especially if he is engaged to that Andy Cohen...that has nothing to do with the story tho... But I like that this was from the past, the only suggestion i have in that respect is to maybe note that because about half way through I was thinking "When was this?" It all came together in the end and I had a duh moment, but as a reader I found myself asking that question and being a bit confused (I get confused a lot tho, so yea...). I also liked how he didn't get the girl like most stories end. And I like how you said that you wanted to give him a back story for his stupidity so this was what you came up with in your mind. You made an assumption that is probably completely false in real life, but I like it because it could be a part of hte reason...most of it is probably just because he's a little shit lol, but this might explain his love life...Idk, that made no sense...I shouldn't be doing this when I'm this tired and on an empty stomach, I ramble. I don't know if I really followed your interpretation of the quote. I saw at the end something about gossipers, but it seemed like your own variation of the quote...which is fine! That's the problem with quotes and songs, people interpret things different and nothing is right or wrong, but it can be hard to see other's interpretations. Still, liked the story though.
