This was so amazing and there was so much to be taken from the way you write as well as the relationship you wrote about. I adore the contrast you made between the August and Jill. How August hardly cares about the passion Jill had but expects her to be excited about hers; it was wonderful and beautiful as a one shot. Good job.

I'm here to (finally) judge the entries for The Most Beautiful Lyrics!

Your layout is very bright, but that could just be my own eyesight. However, everything gels together really well and the colours all match into each other.

The one thing that sticks in my mind so prominently from my art class at school was that god-awful noise when people were putting canvas onto frames. It used to make me jump. I don't know if it would for anyone else, but for me, your mention of that basically brought this whole piece and set it as such a vivid picture for me. I can imagine being right there with Jill as August barges in. It almost seems strange that Jill wouldn't clean the blood from her fingertips, but I think that adds to this. After all, art is ever-changing and it could work really well. I just imagine that having a cut running over canvas would be really painful! It almost shows that maybe Jill is oblivious to all aside from the ache in her chest. It's more like emotional pain affects her more than physical pain and that's a really interesting concept.

Concrit-wise, I have no problems that I could mention. The only thing I could think of is that some of the terms for the art supplies confused me, but then again, they are things that you can work out from the rest of the story.

All-in-all, this was really insightful. It's an interesting little flash into the life of an interesting character. I don't get to read about artists often enough either so judos for choosing a really unique idea! Thanks for entering!
