This was cute with a touch of darkness, I felt like, despite how silly that sounds lol. It was very endearing like poison and blood. said, and it's just very humane - true to the title as a 'guiding light', and I think it was a well done metaphor as well! I really liked the continual imagery of the shadows and darkness.

What an astounding metaphor. It was crystal clear what was being personified, but it was so well done that it felt entirely real. I loved the "male character"; he was endearing and made me feel legitimate emotions. The way she repeated herself was brilliant as well. It was very real, as one can drown themselves in questions as to why they feel the way they do and why it never seems to leave them alone. It reminded me much of the phrase, "fate will always find you". The layout added so much, also. It depicted the concept in a simple and lovely way.
I was drawn in and I felt hungry for more. Even so, the way you closed the piece was talented and perfect, and I wouldn't change a single thing.
There is really no way to describe how I feel about this piece but complete shock and adoration for your impeccable skill! xx poison
