  • I’m here as the new host for ‘Same Love Contest’.

Okay, so the sequel actually makes a little more sense now that I’ve read this. I was capable of following the sequel without being lost, but this definitely filled in some gaps. I still don’t like how Micah took advantage of Stryker for his own selfish reasons considering his logic was that he’d deal with the consequences of sleeping with his “straight” best friend in the morning, but it makes more sense that this is actually what Stryker wanted. Like Stryker actually set out to get drunk and be around Micah in a gay club. It doesn’t make it totally better, but it does make me think that Stryker might have been the one that initiated some of the moments throughout the night.

I definitely think Stryker was still dealing with some internalized homophobia and I think he conditioned himself to be in denial about it for some reason (maybe his parents or something?), but those feelings were definitely starting to become more and more unmanageable for him. It showed in how he was acting even before he hit black-out-drunk.

I do like how you used that repetitive same-paragraph trick again by repeating the exact same paragraph about how Stryker doesn’t do that, ending with him still being in denial, but I thought it was endearing at the same time since I’ve read the morning after scene so I know how it really ends. The writing, in general, was really nice and fluid with a pleasant kind of vibe to it, so…

    All in all, good job!

Aw shucks, you're so nice. The mouths tasting like purple was also my favorite line. I thought it was fitting. The morning after actually made me cry (don't tell anyone). But thank you for your comment. You're way too kind to me.

  • They swore on their lives that their mouths tasted like every shade of purple.
    MY favorite quote. :D
I loved how passionate the sex was and the way you wrote it was beautiful. The morning after shocked me. Stryker didn't remember. Hopefully it'll come up in the sequel. Your writing is flawless as always.
