Thanks so much :) It was definitely an adventure growing up with 3 brothers in the house. The oldest is 7 years older than me, so there is a little bit of an age gap but thats a good thing. He was the protector/ mediator growing up, I was closest with him. No doubt there were times when we all would be at each others throats but I wouldn't trade them for the world; even more so now that I can acknowledge the impact they have made on my life. Grew up playing "Army" in the woods behind the house with the boys and all, and now I have a pretty warped sense of humor but thats about it :) Although when my friends need relationship advice even having never been in one myself I am the girl they call as I can normally tell them how a guy thinks. Positive thinking...

I think every girl should grow up with an older brother or 3

First can I just give you a big hug? So good to hear your brother is okay! I admire you and your whole family. The bravery of your brothers does NOT go unnoticed and is not unappreciated. They, including your family, have my whole support. If you ever need to talk, rant, cry, or just scream, you know how to find me. Always.

You have 3 older brothers?! Tell me, how was it growing up in that house? I've always wanted to have an older brother; I have one younger sister and we are 8 years apart. That is mainly why I chose to have Annalisa with all these older brothers lol

Great story. Not finished with it yet but its great. I have 2 brothers in the military; 1 in the Marines, 1 in the US Army. I am all to familiar with the sudden drop in your heart when you hear someone is deploying again. They never seem to have enough time between them. I know what it is like to hear from my parents and brother that one of my other boys (brothers, I have 3 older) have been wounded. Luckily he was with a quick thinking group of guys with God on their side. He was up on crutches the next day. You capture the feeling of being a family member of someone in the military very well. Thanks for that. People tend to forget that if you are not married, the parents of them, or their longtime bf or gf, they seem to forget that it impacts you. That while you are unbelievable proud of them you are also so anxious with their departure its hard to believe.

It's because you ARE a part of the writing process and story. The story wouldn't be where it is without you. I say this sincerely. You make the story. You really do. For that, I am forever grateful. :)

It's not pathetic at all! I feel so honored that this story has stirred up emotions in the reader. That's truly the biggest compliment you could ever give a writer. It makes all the tears I've cried while writing worth it.

Peter Pan always makes me so emotional. It always has even when I was a kid. Being an adult now and experiencing life and facing tragedy, I can only tell you Peter Pan makes me cry like a bigger baby now.

Sooooo happy you enjoy the family dynamic! Growing up, I remember always wanting older brothers. I still do. The Caro's are a real life family (sadly, not my own) that have inspired me greatly. The real life Caro's (different last name for reasons) are more hysterical than I could ever write them to be. ;)

I was so excited for an update!!! I literally squealed lol..then I cried alot..it was insane the emotion I felt in the last chapter!! Please update soon! First I want to say that long messages are my favorite and I really admire the authors on mibba who comment back personally to all the readers. I don't know what it is, but it makes me feel a part of your writing process and part of the story.

Second, you get your point across so well, it's uncanny. I've felt so much more in your story than I have in actual life. I don't know if that's pathetic or not but it's true lol

Thirdly, I just finished seeing Peter Pan, the 2003 version and that movie always makes me cry. I get on mibba and see this and i'm just all kinds of hysterical right now. I love the family dynamic the Caros have. And it's just beautiful to read.

They really HAVE come full circle, haven't they? I am incredibly proud of the both of them. And so so happy with what's coming up for them. Many good things. :)

I wanted to show that grief is heavy. Grief is agonizing and it can turn someone against their own skin. At the same time, I wanted to show how you can also slowly start coming back to yourself and who you are. Losing her twin and losing her dad is something that will always stay with Annalisa. The hurt will NEVER lessen. But she lives on.. for them AND for herself. She's much stronger than she thinks she is. And Harry knows it. Sorry for my long message! I get carried away sometimes... lol

Can I give you the biggest hug? You sure know how to make someone feel special. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. :)

You more than deserve the praise you get for your writing. It's a fact. And i definitely enjoyed this chapter! At first I thought it was going to be an emotionally intense one based off of the flashback, but the way you lightened it up and still managed for Harry and Anna to have their serious talk was great!! At the end, I just sighed happily because it's like they've come full circle. Can't wait for the next update :)

Gaawwddd the feels!! I love the family dynamic and the way that Harry has just fallen into step with them. It is so beautiful that Harry shared that memory with Anna and is so devoted to her and helping her. I can't say enough good things about this story. Can't wait for the next update :)
