I love one shots and I love fluff and this is just great. It's so freaking cute.
I loved the "I started scratching my arms out of nervous habit" because that is a character trait that could be further developed, and it's something I do as well. That line let me connect to Alex a lot more and I like connecting with characters. Catharsis yeah.
The only thing I didn't like was that Noah just kissed Alex without asking him first, because active consent is literally the best thing in the world because if you don't ask first, you're risking committing sexual assault. I'm not saying that was where this was going by any means, but maybe think about that next time?
I love the ending because it's also adorable. Maybe go into Alex's emotiions more though? He's pretty chill with his best friend making out with him. How is he feeling at that moment? He just seems to jump from bewildered to cool-we're-in-a-relationship-now. That is something that's super hard to write though, but I think it would be beneficial to explore that.
