This was interesting from start to finish! I love your descriptions and how you painted the scene in my head, and I truly got that feeling of sadness from the way he stayed in the shop all day and then spilled to the barista. I love the mystery of it all, too – that ending gave some closure and still leaves me wondering just what happened. You hit a perfect balance between vagueness and specificity where you left a lot the imagination, and that made it really fascinating to read and think about. Awesome job! c:

Wow, I cried...that was sad, but also amazing. I like how you described the story with the man just staring out the window, and thinking to himself, and only those last few seconds of receiving the call...did he die? I think the person on the phone committed suicide, because he might not have wanted to live with what he did...poor man...but great job anyways ^_^
