aww i really like this chapter! it was super sweet and i'm so glad that they kissed!! i'm still very curious about Aristides though. poor guy :( i can understand why she would think like that though.. if/when she goes back, it wouldn't be good to have feelings for him but i have a feeling it's going to be inevitable :/

I think her moms worry is justified in the sense she could go WITH someone. Idk who but I get that. On the other hand, using the against her daughter is selfish and a bit childish. She should understand that if she spent her own money on the trip, she really wanted to go. Idk. All kids wanna do something stupid an spontaneous in their life -- let them make their own mistakes.

he doesn't really seem like he wanted her back or he would've tried more. plus, there's more things than just talking to someone in person. he could've left her presents or sent her flowers or done something extravagant .. he doesn't really want her back. i'm nervous for her to tell her parents, though :/ i feel like they're gonna try to keep her from going and she needs to go!
