That's more than okay. :) Glad it's working. Your writing is improving. :)

Oh! One more quick note, even emotional cheating is still cheating. And that can sometimes be more detrimental than physically cheating on someone. (Bottom line, they are both bad.) Something you learn through the years. ;)

  • That was your best writing so far. Kudos. You nailed this chapter. ;)

Nicely done. I hope Maggie is actually seeing Andy and not blowing him off with her "tough girl" routine. She needs to know it's okay to feel vulnerable and scared. It doesn't make her weak.

It sucks because you have to replace the gear a lot because it smells soooooooooo bad lolz and you just can't get the smell out.

Oh, I have my own gear, cost me a fortune, but I have it =) I even brought it to Tennessee me bc our school has hockey club and I have a job with them, nothing big, just cleaning the pucks up after practice and making sure their water bottles are filled. I'm friends with some of the guys and they live in the same on campus apartment building or even floor as me.

I would love to go to Pittsburgh bc that is my all time fav team, but I would have to find my own place, which, somehow, I think i'll end up there =) It is my dream job

That's pretty awesome and unique for sure. I've always wanted to learn to play hockey but my family has never been hockey people. In my life I have been to probably 2 maybe 3 ECHL games in cinci. I got really into it probably 2 years ago when 1 out of my 3 brothers (2 are in the military) came back from a deployment oversees and since their is an age gab of like 3 years between me and him life experiences were different (plus he had been deployed) I didn't feel there way a lot we related on to talk about anymore except we both were watching the Stanley cup finals. So hockey became a way to talk again on more than a hows your day going way.

Then about a month ago I started going to a women's rec league on monday nights were I am learning to play. I don't even know how to skate, but I am not falling on my face anymore either. I just bought my own skates the other day and I start learn to skate lessons this saturday. Super excited

I don't play on an actual team, but I do mess around with some of my friends and I've been to a few family and friends skate with the WBS Pens. I'd like to think I'm pretty good with onetimers, it was hard when I first started, I was always falling on my face.

I have family in Dallas, but I am seriously looking at Chicago, I love the city and the team. Pittsburgh, Boston and Chicago are my favorite teams and I was so excited when I got accepted into their programs.

Actually no, I didn't starting getting into hockey until July 28, 2003 when I met Marc-Andre Fleury when my parents and I were out to dinner for my bday. He was trying out for the baby pens and we sat at the same table at the hibachi restaurant we were at. Marc sat right next to me and we were talking the whole time, I honestly didn't really know what hockey was and he said that if he got onto the team he was going to hook me up with some tickets. A month later I got two tickets in the mail for a WBS Pens vs Hershey Bears game with a note saying he hoped to see his favorite noodle thrower there bc when we were at dinner we started to get into a little food fight and my parents were PISSED lolz. But I went to the game and sat right behind the net, glass seats and it was awesome. We've sort of been in contact over the years. I was there constantly when Bylsma was coach and got to meet a lot of players, I'm good friends with Brian Gibbons and he introduced me to Beau Bennett when he first started and that kid is literally the funniest, dorkiest kid I've like ever met.

So really, I guess u can say that I really have to thank Flower with my career, he was one of my references. =)

Go for paid with housing. That's really awesome. I'm going into communications though. I've done the last year and a half part time though so I am a bit behind. Dallas I heard is pretty cool and has warmer weather but I've always wanted to go to chicago. I have a 2nd cousin who is from PA that lives out their and travels doing hair for so big company though. So did you grow up playing hockey? , because those resumes have to be mighty impressive.

    Congratulations though

I'm at the University of Tennessee main campus majoring in Public Relations and Communications, minoring in Sports and Business management =) Like Chicago, Nashville and Dallas is a paid internship and they're offering me housing. Pittsburgh and Boston are paid but no housing. Toronto is nothing... Oh and Philly accepted me, but my advisor put that in not me, no way am I going to the Flyers. So I really have no clue where I wanna go and I have another week to send out the accepting program letter.

I'm from ohio too though... seems like a state no one gets out of... haha

  • @MITCHEAE, oh no. I never said what he did was okay. Please don't think I'm condoning the cheating. I still think he was wrong, but I also feel like everyone immediately took Maggie's side despite the fact that none of them were even clear on what was going on between Maggie and Pat. Everyone was suspect of them, but somehow Kris is the only that's bearing any kind of fault here. Relationships are two way streets and they both seemed to have failed at that. It just seems odd that NO ONE is backing up Kris, IRL that wouldn't happen. At least ONE person what have come out and said, "You know, Kris f***ed up, but Maggie wasn't exactly a saint either."
