Damn! I'm glad I found this story! Everything kinda caught me off guard but I love it so far. And i'm of course excited to see what's going to happen with Holden and Genevieve! I feel like she's going to start asking a lot of questions. Can't wait to read more!!

omg I was not expecting that! I really appreciate how deep Genevieve and Holden's connection is already. I read your comment below me and I'm looking forward to what else you have in store for her besides their romance because Genevieve deserves so much more than what she's been given all her life and I'm sooo ready for her to seek revenge or find out more about her mother or WHATEVER you're planning !!

Thank you for the lovely comment! You're one of the only people who's given me constructive criticism, and I really do appreciate it because this is really helpful for when I edit the story later on.

The main message I'm trying to put across here is that only you can save yourself. Genevieve must become her own hero in order to find security and happiness. Her relationship with Holden is important, because it's one of the few (if not only) healthy connections in her life; however, it's not the focus of the story. That's why I've been rushing through the romance process; I'm trying to get their relationship moving so that I can continue to more important parts of the plot.

That being said, I do agree with your input and I will definitely try to edit the previous scenes between Genevieve and Holden in accordance. Again, thank you for helping me out!

The way you write details is beautiful. I catch myself rereading certain lines over to experience them again. The only thing that throws me is how unrealistic her reactions seem. "I trust you but I don't know how I trust you is just so unreal. She's been used by men, abandoned by them. I feel like making her trust him so quickly is just a way to skip over that part of the story.

The part where she's conflicted and fights her own emotions. The part where she realizes she's falling in love with him but doesn't even trust him. That's the meat of the story & I feel like it's just missing. It's a shame too, because if you paired that with the way you detail what she sees in him, this could be utterly breathtaking. :)

I love this chapter. It's so sad but beautiful.
And I love this story.

oh my gosh this is experimental??? because the way you worded everything in this chapter with the repetition, the italicized dialogue, the imagery, just EVERYTHING is so fucking precise and beautiful. it reads like it's been crafted over the course of many years. like I just want to read it over and over again ugh I love this story and it's only hooking me in more and more now that all the pieces of her past are being woven together.

loving your updates! keep them coming, the layout is as simple and amazing as ever, do keep it! I love the progress so far with Holden and Genevieve, hopefully it gets a little more intimate though?

ooooh I'm diggin' the layout changes and such! Genevieve's and Holden's weird little trusting relationship is really starting to tug at my heartstrings. the two of them together are weird but so...fitting?

"He is broken, and beaten, and jagged at the edges. But so am I." honestly I couldn't think of a better way to describe it. you have a way with words that lifts me off my feet.
