Nostalgia - Comments

  • Hello! I'm finally catching up on some stories from my comment-a-thon blog. Sorry this took forever!

Anyway, have I told you I love your drabbles? If I haven't, then I'm here to say I love them! Especially this one. The second person point of view (is that what it is? I've been told was 2nd person is dozens of times but I can never remember) gives a whole new feeling and perspective. The second paragraph was like a poem and it reminded me of my earlier days as a freshman in high school. Throughout the rest of this drabble I was brought back to my grammar school days. Those were the days when everything was so simple, everyone got along, and nobody had a care in the world.

Backtracking to the summary. Usually I don't like it when people use a definition of a word as the summary, but for some reason I really like that you did this. Maybe it was because the word that was defined.

Out of all the drabbles I read on this website, I think one is my favorite by far!

  • I enjoyed this a lot! I was sitting here, agreeing with every sentence as I read it, particularly the last one. Very concise, descriptive, and emotion-evoking. I don't know what else to say besides that I loved it! Mr. Green

  • This is a really great drabble. I feel like it conveys the nostalgia really well, and the way you ended it was just perfect. Great job!

I love this drabble so much that I'm going to feature it in my drabble column in the Mibba Magazine Cute
