I’m here as the new host for ‘The Writing Contest’.
This is so interesting and I’m so curious about what it is that’s gone. It definitely got me wondering when the narrator said “I had misplaced you” because that’s such a strange thing to say. At first, I thought it was about a person, but with that line and the closet one, I’m not sure what to think now. I can’t think of a person that can weave themselves into threads and/or be misplaced. Everything about this just has me questioning everything because I really can’t think of what it’s about.
I really loved the atmosphere you created with how you used your words. I can imagine the dark eeriness, the moonlight, the cold mattress, and the wind rustling the trees in the dark. It all conjured this chilling and creepy vibe, and continued to fuel my curiosity about the entire story. I wish there had been more content for me to read! It’s driving me insane not knowing.
