I honestly was not expecting the Dracula man to be Billie Joe but once he said that was his name I kind of got the perfect picture of the weird new neighbor it is sort of intriguing I'm definitely curious to see what is going to happen next I feel the main character has low self esteem but high potential and will be able to master playing the pianoJune 17th, 2015 at 08:51am

Dracula did indeed seemed a bit creepy :D I wasn't expecting Adrienne's partner to wear eyeliner. However I laughed a little when Adrienne's partner said "Because I'll burn to a cinder if I stand in direct sunlight duh" you showed us that ''Dracula'' was a bit hurt xD great job though, i love itJune 16th, 2015 at 03:38pm

The 'Tomorrow' chapter I think says a lot about how you feel meeting new strangers for the first time, that you feel anxious, (me too): When you said "Extravagant glasses she wore only to make her look smarter" I really get a feel of how you feel about how certain teachers are annoying as hell and they sometimes only do and say things to make themselves shine. You did an excellent job in showing your feelings about meeting new peopleJune 16th, 2015 at 03:18pm

This chapter (as someone also said before) is very cute, what comes across to me is that the speaker of the story (in which in that case is you) it appears that you don't have much confidence "And I honestly did not feel like I deserved to be playing the beautiful instrument" The fact that you're not bursting with confidence is one of many reasons why this story is so cute :3June 16th, 2015 at 02:59pm

Heyyyy
This story is super cute! I really appreciate that this story started off at school (as many stories do) but the main character actually wanted to learn something and was actually focused (like in art class). Your perspective is refreshing.
To be honest, I'm not into music much, like I avoid listening to it and what not, but I find it really intriguing that there are people who are so in love and passionate about finding their talent and honing their skill. That's actually the most interesting thing about your story, how determined Harleen is to learn. A lot of stories nowadays focus on how not interesting it is to learn, and how interesting it is to be in love (thus ensuing a whole lot of love drama related chapters).
I really liked this line, "I gawked, well, uniformly pretended I did not care how amazingly huge and ornate his house was."
It made me laugh. I already like the main character because she's so clever!
Keep writing! And take care!

Thanks for commenting! I was surprised, actually, because I haven't done anything with this story in ages and was considering continuing it. From memory, it takes place somewhere around the release of American Idiot.May 20th, 2015 at 06:34am -

Indeed! Hahaha it's great to be working on this one again. Hopefully I can get back into a routine with my other GD stories as well. :)
